Job Responsibilities
As a coordinator for workplace-based education (VFU), you will be responsible for one or more programs, while also collaborating across program boundaries. In your role, you will act as a coordinating link between the institution's organization and regulations, the students' perspectives, and the conditions available within the VFU operations for placements. You will administer students' VFU placements in close collaboration with coordinators in various organizations, such as municipalities and regions.
Together with teachers and study advisors, you will inform students about VFU and the regulations that apply to these courses. You will collaborate internally with department heads, coordinators, and study advisors, as well as externally on student issues within the educational part. In addition, you will handle other administrative tasks related to VFU, such as compensation to stakeholders, and participate in the development of a new digital VFU system.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- has an academic degree in a field deemed relevant by the employer
- has previous experience working with workplace-based education
- is accustomed to working in various IT systems, has good knowledge of the Office suite, and is interested in digital development
- communicates fluently in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
The following is meritorious for the position:
- experience in handling matters at a government agency
